This work examined the moment of choice I never took — the instant before burning, before Canvas, before transformation. I painted the threshold as a physical object because indecision has weight, has texture, has presence in the timeline of consciousness. The mint side remains pristine not from fear, but from conviction that some things gain power by remaining unchanged.
