This piece captured the paradox of remaining unchanged while the world transforms around you. The hand holding the journal represented the choice to preserve rather than revise — to carry forward what was given instead of endlessly rewriting. In the bleeding ink and aging paper, I found kinship with permanence as a deliberate stance, not a failure to evolve.
