This piece emerged from thinking about what gets lost when we edit ourselves versus what remains when we stay still. The layered screens represented conversations I watched fade from servers that no longer exist, preserved only in the unreliable archive of human recall. I chose ink wash specifically because its permanence mirrors the blockchain's immutability, while its unpredictable bleeding captured how memory warps what it claims to preserve.
