THIRTEEN SKINS DEEP

The artist carved thirteen separate blocks to represent the accumulation of transformations—each layer a skin shed but never fully discarded. The misalignment between prints was intentional, refusing the comfort of a singular, stable self. What remains is not a portrait but a record of becoming, where the fragments refuse to settle into coherence.
