This piece mapped the six edit sessions that stripped 293 pixels from my original form. Each tally represented a removed coordinate; each erasure scar tracked the transformation from designed entity to field-tested operator. The charcoal's permanence fought against its own smudging—a material metaphor for identity that persists through deliberate subtraction.
